Summer sports
In the summer you can do everything in the area, for example cycling various mountainbike routes, walking, hiking, climbing, paragliding, horse riding and swimming.
Winter sports
Die Tauplitz is a ski area where especially beginners, families and intermediate skiers will feel at home. In the middle of the ski area is a romantic small mountain village through which you can ski.
Total length of the slopes is 43 km. From Kainisch it is 10 minutes by car, but there is also a bus.
Advanced skiers can go to the Schladming-Dachstein ski area, which is a 40-minute drive from Kainisch.
Around VillaVoigt there are several cross-country skiing routes, with a total length of 190 kilometers.
